I Can Hear the Inner Voices of Chinese Herbs

Everything discussed in this book is based on real medical cases. I am not making things up.

Chinese Herbal Medicine Is So Capable, It Can Help Me Diagnose Illnesses and Prescribe Remedies; Those Who Can Work Have Done It All, So What Do You Need Me For?

Lu Xuan, a graduate of Zhijiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, transmigrated to a parallel world where traditional Chinese medicine was not taken very seriously. After offending the department director by speaking his mind, he was sent to work at a community health clinic.

Lu Xuan had originally thought his life had more or less reached its end, but then he discovered that he could actually hear the thoughts of Chinese medicinal herbs.

“Chills and fever, marked tenderness and rebound tenderness throughout the abdomen, positive psoas sign...”

[This is intestinal abscess. This poor guy is incredibly unlucky. The treatment should use purgation, attacking and expelling, and moistening and purging to promote bowel movements, eliminate stagnation, and clear away excess heat. For this condition... rhubarb and Xuanming powder are just your thing.]

“Polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility, this...”

[Caused by congenital deficiency. The kidneys are the foundation of pregnancy... There was once a formula called Hecarche Great Restoration Pill, which could restore congenital essence. But for this condition, use Strengthen the Foundation and Nourish the Origin Powder, taken with warm yellow wine, followed by Angelica Four-Reverse Decoction with Evodia and Fresh Ginger to directly enter the extraordinary meridians, gradually dispersing the accumulated pathological mass.]

Lu Xuan: You have diagnosed the illnesses and prescribed the formulas yourselves, so what do you need me for?

Gradually, Lu Xuan became famous for seeing patients at the community health clinic, and countless people came seeking him out.

The Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine: The district hospital does not want you? Come on over. We still have a position for a chief physician of internal medicine and traditional Chinese medicine.

The Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine: Come to our provincial hospital. We’ll keep the position of chief physician of internal medicine and traditional Chinese medicine open for you.
