Raising Livestock in the Three Kingdoms

Liu Cang, director of the Han Dynasty’s Funiu Mountain Ecological Breeding Center, the Shu Han imperial uncle, chief instructor of the Great Wei Tiger and Leopard Cavalry, and supervisor of the Eastern Wu naval navigation battalion. Looking down at the forty-seventh class of trainees lined up on the parade ground of the Funiu Mountain Physical Training Center, Liu Cang stood atop the platform. “Autumn’s here. Go get ready. Tomorrow, put on your armor and march out through Yanmen to forage for supplies!” At his words, the eyes of the Three Kingdoms’ veteran generals below glittered as they exchanged glances. Among these aged Three Kingdoms commanders, one man was being held back by several young fellows, but still shouted at the top of his lungs. “Director! Imperial Uncle! You mustn’t, absolutely mustn’t! I’ll be gone for months, and I still have countless matters of state to take care of. Imperial Uncle! Liang needs to return to Shu! Liang needs to return to Shu!”
