In Tokyo, I Slay a Hundred Demons with One Sword

A young man joins the Paranormal Combat Division. “Have you heard? He took down the evil spirit that slaughtered a thousand people with a single sword strike!” “During the last Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, all of us were just trying to survive, but he charged in laughing and cut them down until they were all wailing in mourning!” “The higher the mission's death rate, the more eager he is!” “He's cast aside worldly desires and burns through his life to fight... He must be carrying a burden beyond anything we can imagine...” In a dark alley, Jianqi Lü flicks the black blood from his wooden sword. Behind him, corpses are piled high as a mountain. [Mission complete. Five million yen deposited into your account.] He glances at his balance and lets out a sly chuckle. “This is way too easy. I really don't get what they're so afraid of.” “One more job and then I retire...” “Yeah, one hundred million more jobs!” (In the early stages, he grows within the official organization; later, he goes independent.) [Instances cleared: Flesh Prison (Small), Aobadai High School Ghost Domain] [In progress: Tokyo Station Ghost Domain]
