Chinese Showbiz: I Pick Up Stats in Hengdian

Background actor Zhen Xing awakens the Observation System. By observing others, he has a chance to gain their attributes.

An actor delivers a breathtaking crying scene?

“Congratulations, you gained [Acting +1] through observation.”

A singer shows off their voice?

“Congratulations, you gained [Singing +1] through observation.”

A director pulls off a one-shot take?

“Congratulations, you gained [Audiovisual Skills +1] through observation.”

Years later, even after becoming a Best Actor, a singing legend, and a Best Director, Zhen Xing still happily wanders from one film set to another.

The whole internet hails him as “the most hardworking Best Actor in history,” “the ultimate underdog success story,” “the greatest director,” and “the singing legend held back by acting.”
