Without a Heroic Spirit, I Can Only Handcraft a Mythic Version of Myself

Chu Mo carries a Time Gate as he transmigrates to an era when mythology has returned and ancient heroes have descended. The strongest here can bestride the cosmos, pluck stars from the sky and make the sun fall, or shatter star systems with a thought.

As someone at the bottom of society, Chu Mo can only use the Time Gate to travel through the river of history, creating a mythical version of himself in the past again and again, and turning each one into a heroic spirit.

[Sacred Emperor of the Human Race] [Confucian Master] [God-Slaying Celestial Venerable] [Lord of the Investiture of the Gods] [Ancient Progenitor of the Myriad Paths]...

While everyone else frets over how to obtain their first heroic spirit...

Chu Mo gazes at the many mythical versions of himself and falls into deep thought.

Meanwhile, as time passes, the powerful figures who have inherited the legacies of many ancient heroic spirits begin to sense that something is wrong.

"Wait, what? The heroic spirit memories I got showed that the person I inherited spent his whole life hunting down one man? Holy crap, that guy severed the dragon vein of the Demon Qing Dynasty? So that's why the Qing Dynasty fell?" said the inheritor of the Qianlong heroic spirit, who preferred to remain anonymous.

"So this is what really happened in history... That man fought his way through heaven and earth alone, killing everything in his path to win the human race a chance to survive. That's how the person I inherited was able to pacify the land and bring lasting prosperity to humanity," said the inheritor of Zhu Yuanzhang's heroic spirit.

"He alone stood against all of history!" said the inheritor of the Heavenly Venerable of the Way and Virtue's heroic spirit.
