The Stay-at-Home Dad Isn't Doing His Job

As a “new” dad, Zhang Chen admits that soothing a baby is a huge challenge.

When the baby cries, you have to smile;

When the baby smiles, you’re on the verge of tears;

When the baby wants to sleep, you have to tell her a story;

When she wakes up, you have to sing her out of bed.

The thing is, the child’s mother is a hugely popular superstar in the entertainment industry, famous for her work in film, television, and music.

So Zhang Chen, whose day job used to be as a doctor, starts neglecting his profession to compete with the child’s mother for her affection.

Write songs? Release albums? Publish books? Write TV scripts?

There’s nothing he can’t do.
