A Little Wildness in His Heart

[A prickly, cold, lovesick young man × a cool girl who's three parts sweet and seven parts wild] Meeting Shen Jiayu for the first time was probably the most mortifying moment of Wen Miao's life. At the time, Wen Miao was still whispering to her friend, “Sure, Mr. Shen is really handsome, but he doesn't look straight to me.” Her friend: “You can tell that just by looking?” Wen Miao: “I'm guessing. Slim waist, long legs, a great butt: the standard male lead package. And look, all his friends have girls around them, but he's the odd one out with a stuffed toy.” Her friend: “Makes sense.” Wen Miao: “That's why I think he's the kind of little seducer you read about in novels: he seems unapproachable, but he's actually passionate as a fire. Come to think of it, I wonder if he's got an eight-pack.” “...” After her thoroughly reasoned analysis, Mr. Shen, who had been silent until then, finally lifted his head. His cool, deep eyes fixed on her for a moment, then he answered in a perfectly authentic local accent: “I do. Want to see?” Wen Miao: “?” Wen Miao froze. “Y-you... you understand the local dialect?” Shen Jia said expressionlessly, “Sorry. I'm a native of Jiangzhou.” Wen Miao: “...” A spectacular public humiliation. One-on-one | Sweet romance | Affiliated High School of Haida
