After the Groom Ran Away, She Married into a Military Family

On their wedding day, Lu Hanzhi's groom elopes with Cheng Junze's bride. As both families are disgraced and become the laughingstock of the capital, Lu Hanzhi grits her teeth and climbs into the Cheng family's bridal sedan. So Lu Hanzhi, who had expected to marry a talented scholar and spend her days composing poetry beneath the flowers and moonlight, instead enters a family that has produced generations of military commanders. A misunderstanding and prejudice, along with two swapped marriages, keep the people of the capital gossiping for a long time. Years later, when the couples have grown old together and are surrounded by children and grandchildren, Lu Hanzhi looks at the person beside her and finally says, “I'm glad I met you.”
