The Army Wife Heads to a Remote Island, Winning Over the Whole Camp With Her Cooking

【Period setting + rebirth + food】 Chen Shufen is swindled out of her life savings by the youngest son she doted on all her life, then left to die in the snow. When she opens her eyes again, she's back before the tragedy. This time, she won't be a fool! She tears into her ungrateful son, lashes out at her parasitic relatives, and cuts ties with her past for good! Taking along her eldest daughter-in-law and granddaughter, whom she failed in her previous life, she packs up and follows her eldest son to a distant island. She thinks she's just moving somewhere new to carry on with the daily grind, but unexpectedly, the meals she makes this time seem to have “special effects.” Wild vegetable pancakes whet her granddaughter's appetite, home-style soup eases her son's old injuries, and even a simple plate of stir-fried greens becomes unforgettable to the young soldiers in the camp. The military wife’s kitchen becomes the warmest comfort in the island's steel-hearted military camp.
