Meeting Officer Li

She is Li Ran, living under the identity of Pei Qing, a woman identical in appearance to herself, whom she impersonated to take revenge. He is Li Cangyan, a young police detective who has recently made a name for himself in the country. Every current murder case he handles is solved, giving him a 100 percent clearance rate. He arrives from above as her immediate superior. When she unexpectedly sees the senior schoolmate she has admired for years, she loses control of her emotions and nearly reveals her true identity. Only when the words reach her lips does she realize he has already forgotten her. He seems gentle and reserved, a man of few words and unworldly composure, yet his eyes and brows seem to spell out restraint and dominance. Five years apart have made him even harder to read. Perhaps she never understood him in the first place. So when her former heartthrob repeatedly signals that he wants to pursue her, she finally insists, “I'm Pei Qing!” “I know. Pei Qing is the one I'm pursuing!” Her heartthrob gives her a meaningful smile, confident of victory. And so, after she is stunned unconscious by a shock, she becomes his girlfriend, stealing moments for a little romance amid the work of solving one case after another. Love arrives without warning. Only after he has conquered her body and soul does she discover that her former heartthrob is a wolf in gentleman's clothing in bed. Worse still, the love he offers turns out to be a devastating calamity... He has forgotten the past, and she has no choice but to hide it. When both are hiding their own agendas and trapped by circumstances, can their love ever find clear skies again?
