Everyone Else Has a Spirit Medium, So What the Heck Do You Have?

I was born in the bitter winter of 1952.

At the age of eight, I came down with acute leukemia. My life rapidly dwindled to just two months.

My parents spent every last penny and traveled everywhere seeking treatment, but no miracle came.

Then, on an autumn night of rain, I dreamed of the fiery red fox that would change my fate.

"Give me a proper burial and raise a grave for me. In return, I'll lend you twenty years of life."

Without telling my parents, I piled up a lonely grave in the barren hills.

The years of life were borrowed, but the debt of karma would have to be repaid.

Bearing the fate of an immortal, I began to see things invisible to ordinary people and embarked on a perilous path of dealings with ghosts and gods.

In this age of rampant materialism, I became a taboo figure, walking the narrow divide between yin and yang.

"They worship immortals, but I am the immortal."
