I Just Transmigrated and You Want Me Dead? This Young Wife Goes Wild and Wreaks Havoc on the Whole Family

(A slow-burn historical farming story with revenge, set in an imaginary world, and a bad ending. It has a golden finger, but it only helps at the very beginning. Please be gentle if that's not to your taste.) Two strange things happen in Xia Ping Village, where life has been peaceful for a hundred years. First, Xu Zhi, the Deng family's granddaughter, whom they had raised since childhood, dies and comes back to life three days later. Second, after coming back to life, Xu Zhi's personality changes completely, and she starts gathering grass on the mountain every day. It isn't until Xu Zhi builds a grand courtyard with the money she makes from the grass that the villagers realize it's not ordinary grass, but medicinal herbs. Seeing a chance to profit, the villagers begin searching the mountain for herbs just like Xu Zhi. By then, Xu Zhi has already started expanding her medicinal fields. Just as they begin planting, Xu Zhi opens a medicinal cuisine restaurant. Only then do they realize there are even more ways to make money, but before they can catch up with Xu Zhi, she opens a shop selling medicinal products. This time, they can't keep up, because Xu Zhi starts a chain and opens a store in the capital. Matchmakers had already worn down the threshold of her home, and now even the front gate is in danger. Her grandmother smiles as she sends away one money-minded visitor after another, but in private, she worries about her granddaughter's marriage. “Tell me, what kind of husband do you want?” Xu Zhi sits in the shade beneath a persimmon tree and says calmly, “One who can give me a thousand gold, ten thousand gold, hundreds of thousands, millions…”
