Mr. Fu Has Wanted to Be a Stepdad for Ages

Before she turned twenty, Ming Yue lived boldly and without restraint.

After she turned twenty, the Ming family went bankrupt, her father was sent to prison, and her stepmother, desperate to repay their debts, planned to marry her older sister off to Fu Chenzhou, a disfigured, disabled man known for his violent and cruel nature.

But on the day of the wedding, Ming Yue unexpectedly ended up in bed with him.

With the debts hanging over them, she had no choice but to go along with the mistake and take her sister's place as the bride.

Later, when Fu Chenzhou had gained power and influence, her stepmother demanded that Ming Yue give up her place as Mrs. Fu.

Her husband had already signed the divorce papers, too.

Deeply disappointed, Ming Yue left Fu Chenzhou.

But then, one day two months later, she suddenly began to retch.

Fu Chenzhou had spent nearly thirty years cold and unfeeling, never expecting to fall for a young woman.

But just as he realized how he felt, she ran away.

When they met again, she was holding the hand of an adorable little child.

She said, "Mr. Fu, you've got it wrong."

He gave a cold laugh. "That's fine. I don't mind being a stepdad."
