A Brief Marriage

Volumes 1 and 2 are now available in print.

The first time Yan Yu met Lu Yan, he was lying in bed, at death's door, and she was about to donate her bone marrow to him.

The second time they met, she said, "I'll donate, but will you marry me?"

The media called her wicked, accused her of taking advantage of him, and blamed her for breaking up Third Young Master Lu and his childhood sweetheart.

Some said she didn't know her place: a poor, chubby girl dreaming of marrying into a wealthy family.

Lu Yan was indifferent. "Yan Yu, I can give you the title of Mrs. Lu, but I won't love you."

But no one knew she wasn't fat. She was pregnant.

No one knew how much she had sacrificed to save Lu Yan.

And no one knew that, sleepless late at night, as she gazed at Lu Yan's profile, she thought, Cheng Ci, did you know? There's someone else in the world who looks just like you.

Lu Yan regretted marrying Yan Yu.

He regretted divorcing her even more.

But what he regretted most of all was hearing his daughter call someone else Dad.
