Darling, I'm Not Waiting for You Anymore

From the age of twenty-one to twenty-four, I spent three years by Lu Yunfei's side.

For those three years, I took care of him in every way and bore his child. I did everything I could for him.

I thought Lu Yunfei loved me. He never turned me away, and he would come home late at night to kiss me in secret, gently caressing the child in my belly.

So Lu Yunfei never brought up marriage, and I never pushed him.

But I never imagined that while I was writhing in agony in the hospital, struggling through a difficult labor, Lu Yunfei would be at a hotel, beaming as he slipped a wedding ring onto his bride's finger.

Only then did I understand: Lu Yunfei wasn't against getting married. He just didn't want to marry me.

So this wasn't love after all, Lu Yunfei.

I'm not waiting for you anymore.
