The Capital Criminal Case Records

Su Li disguises herself as a man to join the Dali Temple, and thinks she has landed the perfect job. Her superior is a pretty fool who relies on his family background, while her colleagues are confidants who love gossip. All she has to do is perform her duties diligently, and she will rise through the ranks. However, Xie Ci of the neighboring Court of Review is always making trouble for the Dali Temple. He either sends cases back for retrial over some flaw, or drags them all over the place to investigate cases and hunt down criminals. When he has nothing better to do, he even tries to poach their staff. After this happens time and again, Su Li loses her temper. Does he really think she is a pushover just because she has yet to show her claws? No one is going to stop her from climbing the career ladder! So she secretly begins plotting her revenge. Xie, the presiding official of the Court of Review, was framed by his enemies as a child, leaving his family destroyed. As a result, he grew cold and stubborn, until one day a junior officer from the Dali Temple named Su Li barged into his courtyard and brought a little color into his world. Sunny heroine versus tragic, beautiful hero.
