She Comes from Books

Thousands of years ago, Bai Qingxu, a poor scholar, failed in the examination for three consecutive years. In anger, he gave up his dream of becoming the top scholar, stayed away from the world, hid in the mountains, extended his fantasy based on the strange birds and beasts, and strange things in the mountains, and devoted himself to writing the "Qizhilu". Unexpectedly, Po Meng turned into a "spirit" and came out of the book, claiming to be Master Meng. She fell in love with him at first sight and started a love affair with him. However, the scholar was frail and short-lived. He knew that people and ghosts had different paths. Before his death, he designed Meng Po to return to the book world and drink Meng Po soup. Thousands of years later, as the only copy of "Qizhilu" was unearthed, Meng Po, who had already drank Meng Po soup, came out of the book again, met a scholar who was reincarnated as a modern college student, and once again staged a love farce of a woman chasing a man. However, all things have spirits, but the spirits are divided into good and evil. The "book spirits" are all born based on books. If the book is destroyed, the spirits will be scattered.
