Where the Pear Blossoms Bloom

Huang Jia'ai is the pride of the whole town. As graduation approaches, she turns down a high-paying job and resolutely decides to return to poor Tianpo Village to become a university-graduate village official.

"If you want to get rich, build roads first!"

"Other places have peach blossom festivals and cherry blossom festivals. Who says we can't have a pear blossom festival?"

"Tourism and handicrafts, we need to get them all going!"

And so this short-haired young woman, standing just 1.55 meters tall, leads the villagers of Tianpo ever farther along the road to prosperity, together watching over the land they love.
