After His Canary Flew Away, the Coldhearted Tycoon Went Off the Deep End

To Wen Erya, her relationship with Bei Chen is nothing more than a cold contract.

He pays, and she gives him her body and obedience. Beyond that, she owes him nothing and offers him not a shred of genuine affection.

So she deals with his family for him, fends off his admirers, and carries out her duties to the letter.

Faced with the ardent love of his younger brother, Bei Hai, she dares not cross the line and can only keep the door firmly shut.

Faced with the provocations of his fiancée, Du Bingbing, she silently endures them and never complains to him.

She thinks the arrangement will end as Bei Chen expects, cleanly and decisively, once the debt is paid off.

But when she decides to leave, Bei Chen tears up the contract and clutches her wrist in a vice grip.

Flames capable of destroying the world ignite in his usually cold eyes. "Wen Erya, who gave you permission to end this on your own?"
