Please, Don't Make a Socially Anxious Person Fall in Love

Yuan Wu was a severe social phobic who had to work up the courage just to leave the house. One day, she finally resolved to buy the little wontons she had been craving, only to be unexpectedly bound to a “Novel Rescue System.”

The System told her that her world was actually a novel, and that unless she rescued Pei Feng, the beautiful, strong, yet tragic villain known as a “madman,” the entire world would be in danger of exploding.

Looking at Pei Feng, guarded from head to toe and radiating icy menace, Yuan Wu wanted nothing more than to vanish on the spot. Winning someone over was an impossible task for her, and what drove her even closer to a breakdown was that the System kept interacting with her, invading her social comfort zone.

But as she got to know him, she gradually discovered the vulnerability beneath Pei Feng’s cold exterior. This rescue she had been forced into seemed to be quietly healing her social anxiety, too.
