The Wealthy Princess Arrives

Her friend Hongyi takes her own life to stop her from becoming a vengeful ghost and find a way to resolve the matter. She encounters Master Liaokong of the Buddhist order, then gets caught up in the wanton killing of innocents while seeking medicine for her mother. Driven by obsession, she dies without realizing her soul has been separated from her body. She collides with the pregnant Princess Consort of Prince Chai and is reborn in Prince Chai’s household, unable to accept reality until the master enlightens her. With her two older brothers, she secretly attacks bandits and city thugs while doing business and amassing a huge fortune. In private, people call her the Wealth Princess. She runs into the ruler of a neighboring kingdom, and the two deceive each other, forming a fateful bond. Her seemingly carefree life is beset by all kinds of demons, fox spirits, and ghosts. Her family background and acquaintance with the Third Prince earn her the resentment of Xie Qianye, a lady of the powerful Guanlong clans, who sends assassins to poison her with a curse and disfigure her. While fleeing, she strays into a perilous place haunted by fierce spirits. Qinghe bears a powerful Buddhist seal, which activates the Demon-Slaying Formation. She meets the master and disciple guarding the formation, who treat her face. Qinghe falls for the Taoist Xu Qing, only to be told that he has no interest in worldly love and is set on attaining immortality. Hoping to find a live-in son-in-law and escape the strife, she is instead betrothed to the Third Prince, who has fallen out of favor. Though he acts distant and disdainful, he has long since fallen deeply in love with her. To secure their great ambition, father and son join forces to lay an elaborate scheme.
