President Pei, Stop Chasing Me. Your Fiancée Has Run Away

“Being with a man who has no sense of decency, behaves abominably, looks ugly, and sleeps around is only going to hinder your treatment. So my advice is to break up with him immediately.” Mu Ruxu suffers from a severe emotional deficit disorder. To get treatment, she chose to date Pei Yanzheng, a handsome young man famous throughout the capital, and got engaged to him. Recently, though, she discovered that her fiancé had gotten involved again with his old flame, who had just returned after a divorce. So she asked her therapist what she should do. But when Pei Yanzheng heard Mu Ruxu ask to break off their engagement, he scoffed. “Mu Ruxu, keep pushing me, and I really will stop wanting you.” It wasn’t until word got around their social circle that Mu Ruxu was engaged again that Pei Yanzheng finally panicked. He knelt in the pouring rain, eyes bloodshot, begging for forgiveness. “Ruxu, I was a bastard. Can’t you forgive me one more time?” The tycoon rumored to be powerful enough to make the capital tremble with a snap of his fingers suddenly wrapped Mu Ruxu in his arms, his voice as meek as a lovesick puppy’s. “Baby, don’t look at that ugly guy. Look at me. I promise I’ll stop the moment you tell me to tonight. Or you can tie me up first. I’ll do whatever you say, okay?” Pei Yanzheng was so shocked his eyes nearly popped out. “Th-that’s the therapist who said people who encourage breakups will be struck by lightning, isn’t it?”
