A Fatal Beauty

Country boy Wang Hu has barely arrived in Xuecheng when his aunt sends him to work as a bathhouse scrubber, warning him to “talk less and work more.” But who would have guessed that this “country bumpkin,” who can’t even speak the local Northeastern dialect, has the nerve to snap a thug’s wrist with his bare hands? The boss of the Black Bear Gang shows up to collect a debt, threatening, “Either we chop off your hand, or we smash up the place.” Wang Hu is just about to grab a knife when one word from his aunt makes the underworld big shot bow and apologize on the spot. From a scrubber everyone shuns to the man who stays “right by his aunt’s side,” Wang Hu only needed one night to learn Xuecheng’s rules? In front of the fists that dare to protect his aunt, those rules aren’t worth a damn! But he has no idea that when his aunt says, “This isn’t over yet,” it means an even tougher fight is still ahead.
