Great Qin: The First Emperor Fakes His Death, and I Choose to Take the Throne

In 208 BC, Ying Jiang, who had transmigrated into this world, made a startling discovery: Could Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor through the ages, have kicked the bucket early?

Hmm... Not a big problem.

Who says Qin Er Shi has to be another name for Hu Hai? I, Ying Jiang, am going to ascend the throne!

In the underground palace of the Qin Mausoleum, Qin Shi Huang munched on sunflower seeds, watching the drama unfold:

“I faked my death to test my sons. I wanted to see which of them could ensure that Great Qin would endure for thousands of generations and keep the realm secure forever.”

“That little brat Ying Jiang has crowned himself? I haven’t even given my approval.”

“Sigh... These seeds are delicious, though. I hear the little brat has come up with something called grapes, too?”

“Making Confucianism the sole doctrine? That brat’s gone too far! Guards... What? The people across the realm have all pledged their loyalty to him?”

“An imperial examination system? The brat’s just making a mess of things! Guards... What? The exams can recruit so many talented people?”

Two years later, Qin Shi Huang left the underground palace and returned to Xianyang Palace.

Seeing Qin Shi Huang, risen from the dead, on the throne, Ying Jiang smiled coolly:

“Sorry, make way. This is my realm now.”
