Back to 1980: I Lead the Rise of the Defense Industry

Military industry expert Chen Dengxing is accidentally electrocuted. When he wakes up, he's become a military academy graduate in 1985, only to be assigned to the failing Red Star Machinery Factory! Looking at the dilapidated factory buildings, the abandoned testing grounds, and the old factory director who does nothing but bask in the sun, Chen Dengxing can't help but smile. He knows this is the predecessor of Longyuan Military Industries, which will one day shake the world! When he mentions supersonic missile technology, a sudden gleam flashes in the old director's cloudy eyes. Late that night, he takes Chen Dengxing to a sealed, top-secret warehouse... No funding? Scour the junkyard for treasures! No materials? Turn a pressure cooker into a rocket engine! No talent? There's a deaf Grade Eight fitter, a welding fanatic with a missing finger, and a Tsinghua prodigy who tends the boiler... Every one of them is a hidden national treasure! Leading this makeshift crew, Chen Dengxing uses bicycle spokes to make gyroscopes, takes apart televisions to build radar, and refines fuel with crude methods. Under everyone's watchful eyes, they manage to build a weapon that shocks the world! But as the investigation team's footsteps draw closer, his father's diary reveals a startling truth: his transmigration was no accident! The chess game behind this military-industrial legend spanning time and space was set in motion forty years ago...
