Starting Out in a Year of Famine: The Farm Girl Uses the System to Feed Her Family

[System] [Farming] [Feel-Good Power Fantasy] [Disaster Years] Fu Wan opens her eyes to find herself in the body of a peasant girl on the verge of death. The original owner had a pitiful life: her birth mother died giving birth to her, and her stepmother had always treated her cruelly. This time, when her stepmother tried to marry her off to the village idiot, she refused and was kicked in the chest, dying on the spot.

Luckily, Fu Wan has arrived with the Disaster-Year Survival System, which lets her exchange points for food, seeds, and even advance warnings of natural disasters. She takes her eldest brother and sister-in-law, her second brother, and her nephew to split off from the family and live on their own. While everyone else chews tree bark and eats clay, Fu Wan secretly stockpiles food with the System, clears land for farming, and leads her brothers in renovating their shabby house until it looks brand-new. Their granary soon overflows with grain.
