The Beloved Little Nobody of the ’90S Leads Her Whole Family to Greatness

Su Tang transmigrates into a story set in the 1990s, becoming a five-year-old doomed side character. The original ending: Dad jumps off a building, Mom coughs up blood, her brother and sisters die horribly, and she herself dies of sickness and hunger... The Su family is counting down to a tragic ending, with only a year left. This time, she's got the script in hand and refuses to repeat the same mistakes! The landlord demands rent? The fierce little girl says, “Auntie, there's a little boy sitting on your shoulder...” A poisonous friend uses a wildly overpriced contract to scam Dad? Tangtang “accidentally” spills water on it, tears it up, and chews the key pages to bits. On a stormy night, as thunder crashes, a bloodied hand pushes a soaked paper ball through the crack beneath the door. A reckless gamble to change fate is about to begin. “Dad! Pick it up!” They take in a big shot, who declares, “The Su family is under my protection!” The big shot's son says, “Tangtang is mine.” With a powerful patron backing her, Su Tang goes all out to bring out the best in her family: “Mom, the little dresses you draw are way more stylish than anything at the department store!” (Her timid mom becomes a fashion guru.) “Big Brother, that bad uncle slipped a note into your book!” (Her bookish eldest brother becomes a financial tycoon.) “Second Brother, people are lining up at the street stalls for that singing box, the Walkman!” (Her delinquent second brother becomes a logistics king.) “Big Sister, the foreign poems you recite sound so lovely!” (Her timid third sister becomes a top interpreter.) “Dad! Buy that plot of land!” (Her street-vendor dad becomes a real estate tycoon.) Su Tang, the Su family's beloved little darling and the mastermind behind the scenes, counts money until her hands ache and directs her family to one victory after another. Along the way, she turns her clingy “sworn big brother,” Gu Ze, into a future business tycoon and her very own childhood sweetheart. The whole family of villains is dumbfounded: What happened to the doomed side-character script? After taking in a big shot, even a five-year-old has become a genius?!
