Pomelo Ashes on Warm Mountain

(Rekindled romance + intense push and pull + adorable kids + one-on-one happy ending)

When Shen You returns to Jingzhou, she takes her daughter to the hospital and runs into Huo Yizhou, who has brought his son there too.

Compared with five years ago, she’s become thinner and more dispirited, while he’s grown steadier and calmer.

Five years later, they each have families of their own. He watches as she rushes around for her daughter and fights tooth and nail with her husband over their divorce.

She thinks it’s just a chance encounter, but this has all been carefully orchestrated for a long time.

Five years ago, they were the golden couple everyone envied at school. When they broke up, she said every cruel thing she could think of.

Their reunion disrupts the trap carefully laid by a third party, and the truth about the past is gradually revealed. Still, she tries her best to keep her distance from him.

“Huo Yizhou, I’m divorced, and I have a daughter. Can you let me go, and let yourself go too?”

In the villa registered in her name, Huo Yizhou grips her wrist. His air of nobility gives way to humility, and his voice drops to the very depths. “Youyou, I don’t care.”

“I can be your daughter’s dad, and I can be your new husband. Just please, don’t leave me again.”
