Your Son-in-Law Dotes on His Concubine and Neglects His Wife? Let’s See How He Likes My Slaps

After transmigrating into a wish-fulfillment novel aimed at male readers, Liu Mingzhu nearly faints over and over. As the matriarch of the wealthy Pei family, she has money, and then some. But the original owner grovelled before her scholar son-in-law and emotionally abused her daughter and son, turning a powerful, wealthy household into a stepping stone for a penniless scholar. Her daughter is blindly filial and hopelessly lovesick, while her son is insecure because of his disability. Liu Mingzhu rubs her hands, ready for action. Step one: beat the leech of a son-in-law to death and cure her daughter of her lovesickness. Step two: heal her son's leg and help him regain his confidence. Step three: lie flat and enjoy life as a rich matriarch. Later, her son places first in the imperial examinations and earns her a noble title. Her daughter becomes the first female imperial merchant, full of confidence and ambition. Liu Mingzhu watches a man cling to her like a plaster. Wait, weren't I supposed to lie flat? Why are you making me a general's wife?
