Tales of Vietnam: The Haunted Jungle

Thirty years ago, during the self-defensive counterattack against Vietnam. I was a reconnaissance soldier. A secret order pulled me out of my unit. A mysterious mission uncovered a sinister project by the former Soviet Union. Under the secret order, a team of reconnaissance soldiers was sent into Vietnam. This perplexing “military research” project concealed “pseudoscience” that defied all reason. They could reach for the moon in the heavens and catch turtles in the depths of the sea. In the Cold War era, when everything was a competition, what drove the frenzied former Soviet Union to pour so much manpower and material into digging tens of thousands of feet into the earth, as if it wanted to bore straight through the planet? What secret did they discover deep below the surface? Dense forests, a strange land. A contest between great powers, a massacre between peoples. Mysteries of history, terrifying creatures. This is my story, too. The world you think is beautiful really does look beautiful, but there is more to it than meets the eye. Thirty years from now, I hope they, and those things, will be remembered.
