Reborn: The Sisters Take Down the White Lotus

The sisters Su Wan and Su Qing are reborn with a burning grudge, returning to the pivotal moment when Yang Mingyuan and Song Wanrou manipulate them into approaching Gu Chenzhou. In their previous lives, the pair deceived them into believing Gu Chenzhou had caused their family’s deaths. The sisters became pawns in a scheme to steal commercial secrets, ultimately driving the Gu family into bankruptcy and Gu Chenzhou to take his own life in despair. The sisters, too, died horribly at the hands of their enemies. Only just before their deaths did they learn the truth: Gu Chenzhou was the boy they had helped as children. He had been searching for them for years, and his care for them had always been genuine. Yang Mingyuan, embittered by his origins, coveted the Gu family’s business, while Song Wanrou, consumed by jealousy, hated Gu Chenzhou. The two had conspired to set fire to the Su family home, killing the sisters’ loved ones, then pinning all their crimes on others. Carrying boundless regret and overwhelming hatred, the sisters resolve to change their fate after being reborn. They tear up the bugs and confidential documents, determined to protect Gu Chenzhou, to whom they once owed so much. From the start, they expose Song Wanrou’s vile scheme with pinpoint precision, then nearly send Yang Mingyuan to the police with irrefutable evidence, striking the first blow in their campaign of revenge and protection with unstoppable force.
