I’m About to Die, and You’re Still Throwing a Fit Because I Want a Divorce?

The year my fiancée’s family fell into trouble, I broke up with her.

When we met again, I was a security guard struggling at the bottom, while she was the lofty CEO of a major corporation.

She humiliated me in front of everyone, and every apology I offered only brought deeper revenge.

When I asked why she was treating me this way, she sneered:

“Because I want you to wish you were dead!”

I chose to endure it all in silence, bearing every hurt and secret and letting her take her revenge.

After all, I really was close to dying.
