The Military Academy's Famous Sickbay King: A Lieutenant's Commission Upon Graduation?

Strategic sniper Lin Chen died on a mission. When he woke up, he discovered he had been reborn as a new cadet at a military academy, also named Lin Chen.

With his past-life experience and his exceptional physical fitness in this life, he was soon selected by the special forces for a top-secret island deployment.

After the mission was successfully completed, Lin Chen, tired of killing, decided to take a break. First, he had to cancel his leave request. Taking two and a half years off was a bit hard to explain, after all. He might as well pick up his diploma while he was at it.

Most importantly, he wanted to see just how different his online girlfriend, Chu Xiaoxiao, looked from her heavily edited photos.

Because of confidentiality regulations, Lin Chen couldn't reveal anything about the special forces.

Faced with teachers who were frustrated by his failure to live up to their expectations and classmates who doubted and looked down on him, Lin Chen kept silent.

Until...

The day of graduation!

"After deliberation, it has been decided that the students listed above will be awarded the rank of second lieutenant, and student Lin Chen will be awarded the rank of major!"

Standing onstage, Lin Chen wore a crisp military uniform covered in gleaming medals. The two bars and a star on his shoulders shone brightly.

"What the hell? I thought he was the king of sick leave. How did he become a major?!"

"What hospital gives out medals to its patients? I want to go there too!"

The students: ...

"Come on, everyone. Let's hear you call me 'Chief' first!"

Lin Chen said with a smile to the students below the stage.
