After the On-Screen Comments Corrupt the Noble Consort, the Emperor Stops Attending Court

On the day of her coming-of-age ceremony, Lin Yannan was given a love curse by the sinister emperor. He held her captive in his arms and tormented her all night. When she woke the next morning, lines of text appeared before her eyes.

[This woman has no idea how good she has it. She became a noble consort, yet still keeps threatening to leave. No wonder she dies young.]

As it turns out, she is the doomed, beloved woman who dies young in a book. The emperor loves her deeply, but she takes him for granted, keeps courting death, and is eventually abandoned by him. Then she is killed through a conspiracy, along with the unborn child she carries.

She is not yet sixteen. She has about half a year left to live.

Lin Yannan: ...

When the emperor comes to check on her, Lin Yannan blinks up at him, goes limp, and slowly falls into his arms. “Your Majesty, I missed you.”

The comments are stunned: [??? Weren’t you supposed to be threatening to leave?]

With the comments to guide her, Lin Yannan leads a fairly comfortable life, until one day the comments are stunned again: [Our heroine, why have you turned evil??]

Lin Yannan is baffled too. Why is this man ignoring the plot and making her fight in the palace every day?

After one fight after another, Lin Yannan flips the table.

Fine, she’ll die. She’ll die, okay?

What she doesn’t know is that after her death, the young emperor loses his mind and goes mad. First he digs up the imperial mausoleum, then opens her coffin.

Not only are her burial goods gone, but so is her body.

Xuan Yuan Si goes mad. “When I find her, I’ll break her legs.”

The day he finally finds her, Lin Yannan props up her feet and looks at the man kneeling before her. “I heard you were going to break my legs?”

Xuan Yuan Si: “N-no, not me.”
