The Nineties: Granny Ding Goes Berserk at Any Moment and Beats Her Unfilial Son

Transmigrate Into a Book in the 1990s + Put Rebellious Sons in Their Place + Feel-Good Story + Ensemble Cast + Family Life

Ding Lan transmigrated into a book and became Ding, the old woman who shared her name in a period novel. Transmigrating into a book was bad enough, but waking up as an old woman left her with no one to complain to.

Since she'd already transmigrated, what else could she do? She might as well make the best of it.

Ding Lan's motto was to wear other people down instead of exhausting herself with worry. If her son wouldn't behave, she'd beat him into submission. A sapling won't grow straight unless it's pruned, and rough jade must be polished to reveal its worth. Since her eldest son never knew when to stop taking advantage, she'd teach that selfish brat a lesson.

As for the daughter-in-law who made life miserable for everyone, whoever wanted to marry her could go ahead. She wasn't letting her through the door to wreak havoc on her family.

She could do without her own son, let alone a daughter-in-law!

As for the children who could be set straight, she didn't mind helping them find their way to a bright future.

In her previous life, her daughter had been driven to take her own life because of her eldest son and daughter-in-law. In this life, Ding Lan would protect her at all costs.

Watch as Old Madam Ding rides the rising tide and thrives throughout the 1990s.
