Starting from Debt: Watch Me Feed My Whole Family on Livestream

After spending sixteen hours livestreaming sales, Shu Jin opens her eyes to find herself in an ancient mountain village, branded a “bringer of misfortune.” The original owner was blinded by love and stole her family’s entire savings for a scumbag, leaving her twin younger siblings, one dead and the other ill. She’s saddled with massive debts and estranged from her own parents. Faced with a thatched hut on the verge of collapse, a sister coughing up blood, a brother glaring at her with hatred, and a gang of vicious creditors, Shu Jin’s vision goes dark. Just when all hope seems lost, the sky screen opens! Her life gathering herbs in the mountains and struggling with poverty becomes an “immersive ancient survival livestream” for viewers a thousand years in the future. A single wild herb sells for a fortune? Novel flower lanterns can be traded for salt and rice? Warnings of famine and drought arrive through the comments? Shu Jin seizes this one chance to survive: identify medicinal plants, sell mountain produce, make handicrafts, and open a workshop! Every coin is earned through sweat and goes toward paying debts, buying medicine, and stocking up on grain. She’s slandered for practicing “sorcery” when she sells medicinal herbs, people set fire to her flower lanterns, and she’s framed when she sells food... Every step of her entrepreneurial journey is fraught with danger. To make matters worse, the scumbag ex is watching her like a hawk, while her scheming cousin secretly sabotages her. But Shu Jin isn’t afraid! The livestream connects two worlds, and the information gap is her golden finger. Watch as she uses modern thinking to turn a secluded mountain village into a land of riches, transforming bamboo strips into flower lanterns and coarse grains into delicacies. She not only pays off the debts but also gives her family and some of the villagers a lifeline through the increasingly severe drought. From “little thief” to young business owner, her ancient entrepreneurial tale astonishes both past and present!
