The Coming Kill

Qin Huan first saw Jiang Bingbai twenty years ago, at dusk, as a ferry was docking. Jiang Bingbai was still a boy, sitting alone on the rocks by the shore. The approaching ferry and the sinking sun had nothing to do with him. He had only the sea breeze and the rosy evening light for company. Qin Huan thought Jiang Bingbai would live forever, free from worldly concerns and attachments. But twenty years later, after a series of eerie murders, he discovered that Jiang Bingbai's hands had long been stained with blood.

For Jiang Bingbai, time was an inescapable shackle. He would always be trapped on the island he called home, lost among towering mountains and the depths of the sea.
