After Discovering the Scumbag's Affair, Qing Leng's Chief Assistant Asked to Marry Me

Gu Zhitang, the legitimate daughter of Duke Su's family, had been engaged to Du Yanci, the eldest son of Prince Xuanning's family since she was a child. When the palace was under suspicion by His Majesty and was in turmoil, she lent a helping hand to help the palace. But when the prince came back from rescuing his father, he brought back a woman he said he wanted to marry. Gu Zhitang watched Liu Xi, who had grown up like her sisters, nestling in Du Yanci's arms, begging her with tears in her eyes. The whole capital was watching the Duke's Mansion's joke, but it wasn't long before they heard that the princess had called off the engagement. Not long after, many people saw Xiao Ce, the upstart in the court, trying his best to make the princess smile. Xiao Ce carefully held Gu Zhitang's hand, and carefully and pitifully asked for his status: "Aluo, when can I come to propose marriage?"
