The Fortune-Telling Princess Consort: The Stern Prince's Beloved

Ten years ago, Qing Yuanzi saw that Song Qingyun had an extraordinary destiny. He took her from the Censor’s residence as his disciple, hoping to restore the Three Pure Ones Temple’s reputation.

Who could have known that Song Qingyun was lacking in virtue in every sense of the word? Ever since he brought her back to the temple, its incense offerings had dwindled until there was barely enough to support the disciples.

Song Qingyun was five at the time. She ate twice as much as other children her age, but that was only a little extra.

Who knew that as she grew older, her appetite would skyrocket? Even fifty bowls of rice only left her half full.

Once, the temple ran out of every last grain of rice because she’d eaten it all. Dizzy with hunger, she started gnawing on her own left arm as if it were a giant chicken drumstick.

After divining the truth, he learned that Song Qingyun had a huge hole in her stomach, a bottomless pit that would only grow larger. She would never be full.

Looking at Song Qingyun, as thin as an enoki mushroom, he deeply regretted insisting on snatching her away from the bald priest next door. He might as well have left her at the Censor’s residence.

Even if she was a concubine’s daughter, would she really have gone hungry there?
