Sixty Years a Drudge, Reborn as Granny Chen to Live It Up

Old Madam Chen worked hard all her life. She gave birth to three sons and a daughter, cared for her husband and in-laws, raised her three sons, found wives for them, and helped raise seven grandchildren. But as her husband lay dying, he asked to be buried with his first love. Her daughters-in-law accused her of freeloading and pushed her down the stairs. Not one of her three sons was willing to help her. Old Madam Chen had finally had enough. She pulled out her own tubes and ended a lifetime of being everyone’s workhorse. When she opened her eyes again, she had returned to 1980. She had just received 50,000 yuan in compensation from the factory, and her three sons were clamoring to split the money. You want money? Not a cent! You want my job? Get lost! You want me to look after your wife’s former mother-in-law? You can get lost too! Her scumbag husband wants her to apologize to his first love? Old Madam Chen raises her stick. If she doesn’t beat them to death, it’s just a family matter. Given another life, Old Madam Chen casts off her burdens. She no longer expects herself to be a virtuous wife and loving mother. She lives for herself alone. Her husband and sons, however, weep and beg her to come home… Sorry. She hasn’t been a servant for years. Later, Old Madam Chen meets a man who has eyes only for her. At last, her scumbag husband understands that he lost the woman who loved him more than anyone in the world.
