I Become the Driver of the Three Realms, and Every Immortal Begs for a Ride

After dying in a car accident, Wan Lixing becomes a taxi driver in the underworld, taking bizarre fares from all three realms. The Black and White Impermanence spirits actually bicker over three cents, the Matchmaker recklessly ties red strings to create romances between the living and the dead, and the Great Sage Equal to Heaven not only crushes his car roof with one foot but refuses to pay the fare! He puts up with all of it, wanting only to keep his head down in the underworld and pay off his mortgage. But after accidentally running over a homeless girl, he gets saddled with a custody contract. Then his underworld mortgage nearly breaks his back, the Heavenly Court’s traffic cops hand out tickets at random, and he’s forced to adopt a little lost soul from the human world. He breaks into the Heavenly Court to steal an immortal pill to save his “daughter,” only to be hunted by the Jade Emperor and pursued by Lord Lao. As traffic throughout the three realms descends into chaos, he pulls out his fare meter and sneers, “Buckle up! Our final destination is the overtime zone of the Eighteenth Level of Hell!”
