I Risked My Life to Serve in the Army for My Brother-in-Law, and Now He Wants My Battle Merits

My new book, I Am the National Destiny: Helping My Wife Beat Dungeons with Cheats Is Perfectly Reasonable, has officially been signed. It will be available on January 5, 2026. Everyone is welcome to read it.

The new book tells the story of how the male lead, Zheng Yi, becomes an administrator of national destiny, while his wife, Su Jingya, is chosen as a Chosen One and enters a national-destiny apocalypse dungeon. Zheng Yi helps Su Jingya clear the dungeon.

Zheng Yi wakes up to find that he has become an ordinary soldier fighting magical creatures.

Searching through the original host's memories, he suspects that his wife's family treated him as a scapegoat.

After two years of war, he is fortunate to return victorious thanks to the powerful System he obtained.

When he gets home, his wife's family sees that Zheng Yi has earned countless military merits and wants his wife's younger brother to take his place in receiving the Martial Saint's reward and earning a place in the Martial Saint Hall.

“Your family treated me like cannon fodder back then, and now you want to take my military merits. Even if I handed them over, with the way he is, could he possibly be worthy of them?”

“You want to steal my military merits? Your Su family isn't capable of that!”
