An Eighteen-Year-Old Mom, Wronged by Everyone: Her Whole Family Begs Her to Stop Hitting Them

Before bed, she was twenty and in the prime of her youth. When she woke up, she was forty-five, worn down and old. It was as if Ye Yuzhu's youth had been eaten by a dog overnight. Just like that, it was gone! She'd gone from a young woman to a timid middle-aged housewife, with no dreams and no education, ungrateful children, a hot-tempered mother-in-law, and a husband who gambled and beat her. She'd become a woman who could be hit and yelled at without resistance! In a fit of rage, Ye Yuzhu kicked her whole family to the curb: she fought her pushy in-laws, beat some gratitude into her ungrateful husband, and thrashed her heartless children! She was getting a divorce! She was cutting ties! She was breaking free from this suffocating pit that threatened to drown her! She'd reinvent herself, work hard to make money, and pursue a life that belonged to her alone! As for that gaggle of useless nuisances, Ye Yuzhu coolly declared, “Enough. Stop squawking.” “None of you are allowed to call me Mom!”
