A Reborn Old Woman's Revenge: Taking Down the Ungrateful

[Period setting + reborn + feel-good power fantasy + ensemble cast + everyday family life + ungrateful children]

Li Meiying was widowed young. She gave everything she had to raise three daughters and two sons, helping each of them marry and start a family. But in her old age, her great-grandchild drove her out of the house, and she suffered an accidental fracture.

Her children all despised her. She died a miserable death, but when she opened her eyes again, she was reborn in the days before her old man died, when she still had her unfilial sons and daughters firmly in hand.

Her second son schemes to take her job, claiming he wants to earn money to carry on the family line.

Her youngest son is just as bad, plotting to use his sisters to get bride-price money.

Looking at her ungrateful children, Li Meiying understands: children need discipline to amount to anything. If she's too soft, she'll be the one who suffers.

When her children plot against her, Li Meiying fights back with fists and kicks, without an ounce of mercy.

Given another life, she decides to leave her children behind, work hard to earn money, and live for herself.
