Hunting and Fishing in the Xing'an Mountains: Back to the Golden Age

Reborn in 1961, Xu Dongfeng returns to the little mountain village where his wife and daughter hanged themselves.

In his previous life, he was a bastard through and through, and his wife and daughter died because of it!

Now reborn, he sees his wife fighting for her life on the kang, his frail daughter, and his enemies.

He raises his fists to beat up thugs and put an end to his vicious stepmother's reign, swearing to give his wife and daughter a better life.

In an era when hunting, fishing, and gathering in the mountains are all allowed, ginseng, golden herbs, roe deer, and pheasants are all fair game...

While others fret over whether they'll be eating bran or watery porridge tomorrow, Xu Dongfeng is already spoiling his wife and daughter rotten, with plenty of white flour and rice and all the wild game they can eat!

Vicious stepmother: “That brat has so much money, and he won't give me even one piece of meat!?”

Thuggish uncle: “Nephew, I'm your uncle! Are you really going to let me die in prison...?”

Xu Dongfeng: “Get lost!”

In this magnificent golden age, Xu Dongfeng strides boldly forward...
