My Five-Year Live-In Nanny Contract Is Up. I'm Leaving! What, Are You Crazy?

[Contract countdown + winning her husband back + the second female lead takes the spotlight + carefully planned from the start]

During my thesis defense, I learned that Lu Huaiyu had attempted suicide again and slashed his wrists.

I immediately gave up my defense, ignoring my advisor’s attempts to stop me, and rushed to the hospital.

I cared for Lu Huaiyu at the hospital day and night for seven days, never leaving his side until he was discharged.

Meanwhile, the school announced my punishment for missing my defense.

An extra year before graduation.

That also meant I was no longer eligible for outstanding graduate or outstanding thesis awards, and had lost my place in the recommendation program for a master’s degree at my university.

All those honors went to my sworn enemy, Shen Xitong, after I withdrew.

I knew how much Lu Huaiyu loved Shen Xitong, and I knew he had only gotten together with me to get back at her.

But I didn’t care.

I had signed an agreement with Madam Lu.

Five million yuan in exchange for taking care of Lu Huaiyu for five years.

Today was the final day.
