Back to 1979: It Started When an Educated Youth Agreed to Help Me Have a Baby

I return to 1979, an era of scarce supplies. Ordinary families dip leaves into oil jars to stir-fry their food, and a pound of lard has to last a whole year.

But I'm different. I head into the mountains to dig up bamboo rats and catch wild rabbits, hunt birds with a slingshot, and wade into the river to catch shrimp. I dive to fish and make my own lures to catch mandarin fish and predatory bass. In this era, rich in resources, my family will never have to worry about food again. I reclaim land, grow sugarcane, make brown sugar, and open a fruit canning factory...

Step by step, I rise to the top of the industry. When I look back, I'm already at the summit.
