1970: Your Daughter Is Sick, Yet You’re with Your One True Love

Five years ago, Shu Yuzhi gave up everything without a second thought for love.

But she got nothing in return.

On their wedding anniversary, her husband was comforting his beloved first love, who had been frightened by a horror movie.

When Shu Yuzhi was bedridden with illness, her husband was tending to that same woman, who had gotten nothing more than a minor cut.

Even when Shu Yuzhi was attacked by robbers, her husband wouldn't spare her a glance, rushing without hesitation to comfort and protect his beloved first love.

When their daughter was on the brink of death, he only wanted to make that woman's son smile.

She was utterly disappointed in him.

Now she had decided to accept a transfer from the Ministry of Education.

She would teach in Beiping and take her daughter there for treatment.

She no longer needed him.

But to her surprise, he admitted that he was wrong and begged her to forgive him.

But it was impossible now. She already had a new family.
