Back to 1978: I Married a Sent-Down Youth and Fed My Family With the Hunt

Wang Dachuan, an amphibious special forces instructor, is reborn as a bachelor in an era of famine. His family is in dire straits: even in the depths of winter, they can't put together one complete padded coat, and his grandmother keeps exploiting them mercilessly.

Before the strong, everything is nothing but a paper tiger.

He doesn't hesitate to kick his parasitic relatives out of his life.

Faced with hunger and cold, he shoulders his rifle and heads into the deep mountains and forests. He hunts tigers, fights wild boars, raises pigs, gathers wild ginseng, and digs for medicinal herbs... With nothing but a rifle, he manages to keep his family, teetering in the wind and snow, afloat.
