Mr. Jin, Stop Making a Scene. Your Wife Has Asked for a Divorce Again

To save her mother, Li Xiaye signs a contract marriage agreement with Jin Mushen, the richest man in the city. After three years of being kept by him, she thinks she’ll finally find love. Then one day, Jin Mushen brings home another woman, and Li Xiaye finally realizes that he never loved her in the first place. To Jin Mushen, she is nothing but a stand-in. What she thought was love was just a game he played for his own amusement. Li Xiaye gradually understands that a light that appears out of nowhere was never meant for her, and that sooner or later it would disappear. In despair, she asks Jin Mushen for a divorce. Jin Mushen gently strokes her cheek and tells her, “I started this game. Without my consent, no one can end it.” Later, after searching everywhere for her, he grips her wrist and pleads in a humbled voice, “Li Xiaye, what do I have to do for you to stay by my side?”
